Atifact 1: Teacher Feedback Form

 Teacher Feedback Form

I included Teacher Feedback Form as one of my artifacts. Feedback is a primordial tool in teacher and student growth. Feedback helps educators reflect in the areas they do well. At the same time, constructive feedback helps identify areas for growth and highlights that the educator might not have noticed.  Now that we are moving towards more digital classrooms is essential to also reflect in our knowledge using technology and the purpose in which we use it to supplement the learning goals of our students.

The article Walk Through Are On the  Move the author explains the benefits non-evaluative informal feedback that walkthroughs can offer to administrators and teachers.  In the article Turning  Up The H.E.A.T.  on Classroom Walkthrough Classroom by Christopher Moersch, Ed.D. emphasize a valid point about classroom walkthroughs that include focused one-on-one feedback is the most powerful staff development approach available to impact and change behavior. However, David (2008) cautions us that “… walkthroughs can play a constructive role only when districts make their purpose clear and carry them out in a climate of trust.” Walkthroughs help teachers think about why? Of something they are doing and the impact that this has on students academic growth. At the same time, it provides administrators with the tools to give meaningful and on time feedback.

Finally, It engages both teachers and administrators in an open dialogue and reflection about the teaching practice and the outcome expected. To create a timeless observation, I created this Google form that supports both  The  ISTE Standards for educators.  I included statements that focus on student's engagement, the teaching methods and practice, and the frequency of  Student feedback.
