Google forms for Assessment

Google Forms:

After exploring google forms as a learning tool, I realized how easy was to create and use them. This tool helps assess, collect, organize evidence for my students. For this assignment, I uploaded a picture of the cricket body parts for a science lesson into a google form. Students demonstrate their knowledge by looking at the diagram and responding to the questions. When students respond to the assessment, the form provides me with a count of how many students know the concept and how many students need more practice. In order to grant access to students, it was necessary to create  QR code so students had easy access to the task. Learning  how to use this tools in my lessons, has cut down on the amount of time I normally spend grading instead  I spend more time giving  feedback  and instructing  students

  1. I am sure using Google forms will save you a lot of time and that you will put that time into providing quality feedback.

Introduction

My name is Tulia Golden, I teach first-grade Dual Language Immersion (DL) Spanish in Naperville District 203. I started teaching first grade DL in 2010. I am excited to learn more about technology. I want to become😃 more comfortable using it in my lessons and with my students.  My school district Technology Initiative is to become 2:1 iPods for grades K-1 and 1:1 Chrome books for grade 2 to 12th. I look forward embarking in this exciting technological journey!
