What I got from my technology class

Some of my favorite assignments for EEND675C class was using different applications from the google ecosystem. I feel more comfortable using slides and creating lessons on this app. at the same time,  I was able to create my google classroom. Having the opportunity to try this google tool made me more confident using this technology to enhance my practice. The Google classroom was user-friendly and fun!

 I would like to use this google classroom website to communicate with parents, share with my students, and colleagues.  For this current year, I plan to add a link on my canvas site so families and students can access it. This year’s goal is to integrate digital portfolios in my classroom, so students can showcase their work. At the same time, it could serve it will serve as a piece of assessment evidence. 

Another tool that I enjoy using was the developing my twitter account to connect with other teachers and participate in current conversations about technology and  Dual Language strategies.   I am eager to share this great tools with my colleagues, students, and parents. Foundations of Educational Technology has open many channels of Profesional grow.

    I like your idea for digital portfolios. It is a wonderful way for students to share their work with their families. I think that the home-school connection is especially important for our EL families. Using digital media can be very powerful, even if the parents are not English speakers.
