Artifact 1 Google sites

Google sites Easy and Fun way to bridge education!
Canvas is the preferred learning management system for my school district. After getting frustrated with this site for forty minutes and trying to find information on the LINDA website, I decided to try google sites. I looked at a five-minute video on how to use google sites and Boom! It was super easy to navigate and use the tools.
I learned how to hyperlink web site into pictures and videos. However, there are two small issues with my site. The first issue is that is not a public website and the second issue is adding this website to my Canvas site. The first issue is that I created my google site with my district account; it is very difficult to access it L the only way to access it is with a Naperville 203 email account and invitation.
If anyone knows how to change it, this is something I would like to modify prior to the start of the school year.   I look forward to adding more subjects, topics, and units to my website so I can share this with my colleagues, students, and families.

Introduction

My name is Tulia Golden, I teach first-grade Dual Language Immersion (DL) Spanish in Naperville District 203. I started teaching first grade DL in 2010. I am excited to learn more about technology. I want to become😃 more comfortable using it in my lessons and with my students.  My school district Technology Initiative is to become 2:1 iPods for grades K-1 and 1:1 Chrome books for grade 2 to 12th. I look forward embarking in this exciting technological journey!
